Welcome to the very first blog. In this blog I will review peoples books and flash fiction. People don't realize the plethora of skilled self published writers out there. Writers who could probably compete with Stephen King, Dan Brown, James Patterson, E.L. James or Dean Koontz. Each blog I will discuss one or more authors who have submitted free books to me for my reading pleasure. I'm not going to tear apart their book like some other critics. I will give my honest opinion if I would read another book of theres and promote their book.
Get ready and prepare for the bumpy ride. In this blog I will be reviewing Simone Lisbon. She is a writer, poet, and consultant. She is also a friend of mine via Facebook. She had me review her Smashwords flash fiction titled "Jilling For a Job". At first I didn't get to look at it for a few days. When I read it though I was blown away. This short story would be considered an erotica, but it's much more than that. Her ability to weave words together and set the stage snags you in. As I read, my eyes could not leave the story unfinished. The story was also very arousing! It is about a woman who finds herself more sexually frustrated the longer she is sitting around without a job. Just read the darn story. My honest opinion is that I would read another of her pieces.
